Complete Plasmid Porfolio Enhancing AAV Production
pPLUS® AAV is a set of three plasmids pPLUS® AAV-Helper, pPLUS® AAV-RepCap and pPLUS-AAV eGFP transgene designed for AAV production of various serotypes. These plasmids are optimized to work together, with FectoVIR®-AAV in a triple transfection process, providing enhanced AAV titers and infectivity. They are readily available from Research grade to GMP

pPLUS® AAV plasmids are optimized to produce higher titers with improved F/E ratio. compare to other commercially available 3-plasmid sets for AAV production. The use of pPLUS® AAV-Helper, pPLUS® AAV-RC2 and pPLUS® AAV-eGFP led to a 3-fold increase in VG and 2-fold increase in F/E ratio compared to competitor plasmid sets 1 and 2, following standard conditions.

FAQs - pPLUS® Plasmids
There is no minimum ordering quantity.
Sartorius recommends adjusting the plasmid ratios according to your production process. To determine the optimum transfection conditions, including pDNA ratios for rAAV or LV production, Sartorius recommends using a Design of Experiment (DoE). For plasmid ratios optimization, Sartorius recommends using a Mixture Design approach which is the most appropriate for this purpose.
Sartorius can provide support in building a DoE experimental plan and analyzing the results. If you would like a more complete DoE proposition adapted to your goals and constraints, feel free to contact support here.
pPLUS® are shipped in dry ice. Fee for the dry ice packaging will be charged to customers and included in the shipment cost. This will be automatically indicated in the quote, in the product description table.
Our plasmids are license and royalty-free, even though pPLUS® AAV-Helper is patented. Sartorius remains the sole provider, meaning that amplification of the plasmid cannot be performed with any manufacturer other than Sartorius.
